Le Cerque Agricultural Activity
Le Cerque’s farm produces wine and olive oil in Umbria, Italy using only natural products for the treatment of its plants, in full respect of the biodiversity of the territory.
Love for nature pushes Damiano and his collaborators to fully embrace sustainable agriculture practices, creating high quality products that respect the environment and human health too.
Our Olive Oil
The olive grove, with its 620 trees, extends for about 2.5 hectares inside the agriturismo and hosts three varieties: Leccino, Frantoio and Moraiolo.
The olive harvest begins in mid-October. Olives are picked by hand and with the help of mechanical arms, which do not damage the plant nor the fruit. Within 24-48 hours from the harvest, the olives are defoliated, washed and crushed, in order to preserve all their organoleptic properties.
